Can I just say...

YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The headline I have DREAMED about for the past eight years:

Former President Bush, Wife Depart for Texas

Yes, he and the rest of his administration of criminals should be departing for JAIL, but this is adequate for now.

And it seems as though we have actually elected a leader - someone who cares about the disadvantaged, about our country and our liberties. Amen to that.

It's refreshing to have an attorney general nominee who thinks torture is inhumane! Holy shit, did you ever think you'd have to appreciate that line of thought?

Upward, onward...

... and may they never leave Texas again!

the single greatest failure of the last couple administrations has to do with the breaking faith with the "national myth" as historians are wont to call it that is centric to the (formerly held) national identity; win or lose, we do things the right way. somewhere along the line that got corrupted to "win at all costs". thanks to the last pair of administrations we know as long as we justify our lawbreaking, it is fine. Just say it is about something else and we are covered.

Texas is just some pablum to spoon out to the public. The truth is that they disappeared in a puff of foul green smoke and fell through a hole that opened up in the floor.

Did you see him wandering around, looking faintly bewildered and hurt, before the inauguration?

Somewhere between 'Why's HE got a lollipop? I didn't get a lollipop...'
and 'I think the nurses are stealing my clothes...'

Maybe he thought all presidents got sworn in with protesters wielding placards and throwing eggs. Obama would have been quite a shock.

By the way, Riot Kitty, it's me - Sarah - as in ChickThing just a different blog id.
