And now for something completely different

Mr RK said, "That's too warm and cuddly for your blog!"

To which I reply, "Phhhhhhhhpppppppppppptttttttttt."

*Ninja edit: they are called Red Pandas.*

Apparently they don't like people - however, my stepmom's mom saw them on her trip to China and said they were quite friendly!
How can you NOT smile and say, "AWWWWWWWWWWW!"

If you don't, you're a hard-hearted bastard, what can I say.
Apparently they walk about with their tongues out just like this.

I would like one of these as a pet. As long as they don't eat something disgusting like live mice or crickets - but they couldn't possibly. An animal that cute must subsist on a diet of cotton candy and jelly beans, right?

They may be friendly in the wild, but they were known as "fuzzy spawn of satan" when I met one in captivity. I came home with all my extremities and no need for stitches, but it was close.

Maybe, like the rest of us, freedom is crucial to being good in a good mood?

Riot Kitty goes fuzzy!

Yeah that's cute. I like the idea of walking around with my tongue stuck out too. Maybe that would make me look cute too?

SR: I'm sure they just eat jellybeans and cotton candy, right?

Alan and Darth: I agree! PS Alan, I linked to your blog :)

Shionge and Joey...you should do it!

PG: I think you need to blog about that story.

I had no idea these even existed on the planet; very interesting. China needs to be on my to do list. He looks like a cross between a fox and a bear to me. But he's hanging like a monkey. Thanks for posting this for me (the world revolves around me don't ya know?)

Sorry, don't know whether that was my age showing (I remember Yogi when he was a cub) or how much Boomer I've been watching with the grandkids!
