Mondays are for sleeping

I think it should be mandatory that the Monday after a holiday be a day off.

Because all I want to do is sleep.

I am dreading going into work this morning, because 1) my boss will be grumpy after having two weeks off, 2) we have to plan the move of our office, and 3) I need to grab his attention long enough to talk to him about an event, which also won't happen today (see #1.) Also, it's currently 21 degrees outside.

But when I come home this (see photo) is my plan. How about you?

PS This is one of my cats, Lucky. Isn't he adorable?

Lucky is doing what I'd like to be doing right now. :) I was off since Thursday at 1pm and feel so spoiled now. A lot of people still seem to be off - it's pretty quiet around my workplace.

I hope your day is good in spite of all those obstacles and you get to have a nap like Lucky.

I don't mind Mondays so much, since I ain't got no job and it's red beans n rice day!

wait, I thought Sundays were for sleeping. you know, after you go on a 48 hour bender on Friday and Saturday, it's logical that Sundays you'd just be a zombie. at least, that's what I've experienced. o.O

at least what you've got is work. i had an in-course exam at uni today. yes. on the 3rd of january, right after sunday, which was right after the 1st of january, the day that everyone is going to be totally wasted. so much fun. :|

happy new year? yeah right.

Today is a bank holiday here in the UK! I'm looking forward to everyone going back to school and work so I can get back to my normal routine.

I rarely sleep, so that isn't a very appealing thought to me, even though your cat is a cutie. :)

Sadly I'm unemployed and I have to say the only time I enjoy being unemployed is winter and after a holiday weekend.

Hope you survived your first Monday of the new year. Heading off to work leaving behind snoozing kitties is so difficult, I can definitely agree with that.

Shoot, my plan for today after work is to do grocery shopping.

Then I'll hop back on the computer to either bug everyone on FB or (more likely) do some writing.

That must be Lucky meowing in the right hand corner...yes, he's adorable, and he knows how to enjoy the moment. :)

Hope you get some rest tonight and that it warms up a bit for you. Sweet dreams, amiguita!

L: It's early to bed for sure. What is it w/people who take the first workday of the year off? Haven't they had enough?? (Yes, I'm just jealous.)
I: Red beans and rice are always good.
FF: That is really fucking cruel. Your university is run by grinches?
Joey: I'm jealous! And I wish I could run on less sleep.
Ally: Sorry, I shouldn't be bitching :( You can come visit my cat anytime!
G: I wish I had motivation to do any of those things...I'm just thinking about sleep.
L: It's his doppelganger...found it online before I found him. Lucky break! No pun intended ;)
Darth: Sigh. That bites. Have you tried melatonin?

Lulu: I'm a total putz - yes, that is Lucky yawning! I thought you meant the gun-toting cat. I'm tired ;)

No motivation required for the first item.

If I and the family want to actually eat this week, then grocery shopping must be done.

Motivation was required for the second one, but we failed in the execution, so a C- was had by all.
