I am still blown away that anyone who believes in a loving God thinks that mere mortals would be condemned for loving others. I hope these people find accepting churches instead.
Working in mental health, I see heart-breaking statistics on suicide and attempts from GLBT adolescents, in particular, following bullying and communities that don't accept them.
We need to get on the right side of history and stop the discrimination, and that includes religious groups.
In the meantime, good riddance to this group, which made so many people feel so terrible about themselves.
Motley Crue can say it better than I can... substitute "bigots" for "girl."

I saw that and did some fist pumping. The appalling hypocrites had some senior executives who left their wives to move in with each other too. (I don't have any problem with the relationship, just with the hypocracy of having it while insisting that homosexuality is an abberration which can be cured.) Hiss and spit.
Grand news.
Great Congratulations to that incredibly horrible organization on it's demise!!! Move into the 21st Century Puleezze......!
I didn't know about this but it's good to hear. Such folks certainly strive to give god a bad name.
Yes, good riddance. Teaching self-hatred is not "therapy."
But...but...but...there's no "cure"?
I'm so disappointed.
(for those of you who know me, please be aware that I'm being super sarcastic with those two sentences)
Seriously though, being gay is not a choice. You either are or aren't. Remember boys and girls, it has something to do with an item called DNA and if you couple it with the item called "genetics", then chances are pretty good that you can understand just about anything.
Good riddance, indeed!
I like how it was the leader who came forward and said, gee, I'm married to a woman, and no matter how hard I try after all these years I'm still gay. Imagine that?
It always leaves me stunned that people can still believe this sort of thing. Good to see them go!
I believe in God and the overall message of the Bible but what God would have us discriminate against anyone for loving?? Seriously! That's just sad.
yeah, good riddance!
teaching self-hatred...that's sad.
Motley Crue has been proven to cause mental illness, true story!
Never heard of the Exodus Movement before yesterday, glad I won't have to again.
That we can love and be loved in return should be all that matters!!!
By saying that...our country has to wake up to itself as far as this matter is concerned, too.
