A real conversation in my office today...
Volunteer: "I just read the greatest thing. It says, 'If you really want to slap someone, just do it and say there was a mosquito.'"
I sent that to a few colleagues.
One wrote back, "Yeah, but there aren't any mosquitoes this time of year. So you can't slap anyone at the event Saturday."
My volunteer replied, "Take a Sharpie and make a little black dot on your hand. Then say, 'See?'"

Hey, that volunteer is a real problem solver! Or a violent psycho. One of the two.
I wonder if this work on my mother....
Great idea :) I'll give it a shot :D
Love it. I may try this on someone.
One is the sound of one hand clapping?
SLAP.
A volunteer to be watched. Their idea has charm though...
Reminds me of the spider and crowbar scene in Home Alone!
Ha!
Sounds like the volunteer has someone already picked out to slap. :)
Excellent!
Too little (knowledge) too late. Boy could I have used this idea earlier on.
Everyone who plans to try it, let me know how it works out ;)
funny
LOL - This could be a very inspirational post, depending on how you look at it. :)
Thanks for the encouragement and laugh!
great idea! i may try this on someone. ha!
have a great weekend!
big hugs~
I might be the lone wolf in your rather pacifist crowd...but I have done this. And you can easily replace the word "mosquito" with "fly", "bee" or "stupidity". Sadly, only the first three come off...
ok as an HR professional that sounds so wrong and yet, so amazingly necessary sometimes!!!!!!
Well! I should definitely post this volunteer's advice more often, eh?
