Occasionally I read something I just have to share with the rest of you...this is from
Mr. Riot Kitty's woodworking blog:
"
I suspect that someone saw debbie gibson at the mall and in a fit of sexless rage he came home and started sanding and painting his big brother's bass."
Yes, he really is that funny and clever all the time ;)

Did you know that Les Paul invented the first electric youth? Yep. Stick with me, I know all this stuff.
hehehe...Ah, the 80s.
I remember playing "Lost In Your Eyes" on the piano. OMG!!
Debbie who??? Joking! Actually I don't think she was ever that big in the UK.
I prefer Tiffany's music myself, not that I'm a big fan of her either but I often play "I Think We're Alone Now" at a disco but I'd never play a Debbie Gibson song.
You know my favourite by a long way of all the girl singers at that time was Taylor Dayne. What a voice she had.
I'm droning on aren't I? :D
Oh man! Taylor Dayne?!
OK, trick question: how OLD were you all when Debbie Gibson and Tiffany were hot (1987)??? I turned 11 that year :)
My sister played Debbie Gibson's music most of the time growing up.. and when she wasn't playing her, she was annoying me with NKOTB.... Thanks for bringing back the horrible memories that I thought I had successfully repressed with the mere mention of her name.
what is not to love about Debbie Gibson? The only greater singer in the 80s was Tiffany. Just sayin'
SWAK? As in sealed with a kiss? Why the hell would you write that on a bitchin' 80's bass (say that with as much sarcasm as you can
muster--Kip Winger probably wrote the ode to statutory rape "She's
Only 17" on a similarly-colored bass guitar)?
Rock on, America.
gotta love it!
