Wordless Wednesday (in homage to Julia Child)

A few words - she was magnificent. She would have been 100 today.

She apparently loved this SNL clip, and showed it to friends - obviously she had a great sense of humor.

The video doesn't work in the Uk, damn. I never saw Julia, but I did see the film.

I loved Julia - I have a copy of Mastering the Art of French Cooking. Maybe I'll find something to cook out it this weekend. :)

Humph. The video can only be viewed in the US. Regardless, Happy Birthday Julia. You changed the lives of many - for the better.

As Joe Cool said, the video does not work over here. Shame, I liked a bit of Saturday Night Live!

Julia was such a sweetie. Not that I knew her personally. I had no idea she would have been that, well, old.

I still want to read her book! She was a riot from what I could tell in Julie & Julia (the book).

Oh yes, I remember this skit. Wonderfully done. I miss when SNL used to be funny. :(

Classic clip.

Funny you should mention it was Julia Child's b'day yesterday, I used to watch her cooking shows when I was my daughter's age.

Not sure why, but they were always interesting.

Looks like the video is restricted to US geography. Message on clicking indicated as much.
