Swiping Five Minute Friday from Claire...my theme is...fall.
Fall! I love the Friday before Labor Day weekend - I think about sleeping in, summer turning into fall, a lovely drive up the gorge to a museum, weather-willing, leaves starting to turn next month.
Fall is my favorite season. I think jeans and sweaters, my favorite coat, walks around the lake before the rainy season sets in. Halloween, holidays. Chilly dusk and cocoa and slippers.
Cuddles with kitties. Watching Dr. Who and other BBC delights when it gets dark earlier. More cooking.
Avengers + Thor + Captain America + Iron Man box set coming out in October!
Planning my brother's winter break visit, and Thanksgiving. Enjoying the sun while it lasts.
Maybe all of this is sappy, but you know what? I got rid of the peeing volunteer, and I'm happy today. (You would be, too!)

Glad you told the peeing volunteer to piss off. Life is good.
Autumn is one of my favourite seasons too. A time to snuggle into bed, to cuddle the cats, to drink hot chocolate. Whats not to like? And I am so glad you got rid of Mr Incontinence.
good job on getting rid of the volunteer.
Shoudn't that box set include the Hulk? I know it had Edward Norton in it, but it wqs good despite that and part of the pantheon
Not sappy at all! I am looking forward to slowing down and going to bed when it is dark. And stews in the crock-pot. :-)
Time to put away the white shoes:)
So are you going to tell us how you got the guy to un-volunteer?
I love fall too! No more showing off my elfin legs and wondering if I am going to melt under the sun!
Yes I love Fall too, although I do wish that the English summer had been a bit longer this year!
The one downside to Autumn is that my journeys to and from work start to be in twilight - I don't like cycling in twilight as I don't feel totally visible. At least when it is completely dark I know that my lights show up really, really well!
Ah, the end of the peeing volunteer? We will miss them!
I adore fall. Adore. It. :)
How did I get rid of him? I told his supervisor at the program we work with that I don't run a day care center.
Like you, autumn makes me think cozy thoughts and this is my favorite time of year in Miami. I can actually wear boots again without looking like a weirdo from the northeast. :)
