Things I have learned this week

I'm stealing Lynn's idea for Random Photo Thursday and morphing it into Three Thoughts Thursday, which is the number of ideas my brain has room for at the moment.

1. I get more many comments on posts that involve dick size than ones that are truly introspective.

2. Just about everyone I meet (myself included) is partly Irish. Did everyone hop the fence?

3. Mr. RK got annoyed at work when one of his co-workers kept calling him Robert (which is not his name.) So he started calling her Steve.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Is it St Patrick's Day?

Nope, no Irish in me, I don't think. Ok there maybe I suppose, as I'm adopted I have no idea.

St. Patrick's Day?

Eh.

Personally, I'm more miffed that Easter stuff came out last month and Easter is not until the end of April.

At least you're getting comments about dick size.

I have a post from two years ago about chat rooms that so far has gotten almost 160 hits in one calendar month and I haven't the foggiest idea as to why.

That's funny that Sean calls her Steve. :)

Dang it - I forgot about Random Photo Thursday! I like three thoughts Thursday.

I'd like to take this moment to inquire about the average Irish dick size...not being Irish myself, it's a question that remains unanswered.

S: You know that old joke about no Irish in you. "Would you like some?"
G: That is bizarre. I'd probably get more comments about dick size if I had one, however.
L: There's always next week!
S: LMAO!!!

There is no Irish in my blood that I am aware of.

Also, I had someone call me Tar-uh instead of Tare-uh at work even though I corrected her more than once. Everyone called her Sissy so I just called her Missy. She never noticed. Guess I wasn't as passive aggressive as Mr. RK :-)

I have come to realize that no one really gives a shit about introspective posts. I get the most comments on my posts involving foul language, snarky remarks and sexual innuendos, and I kind of like it that way.

Clearly, we need to work on some introspective musings on dick size.

John: Bwahahahaha! I suppose that answers it.
CB: That is hilarious!
S: Yeah, I kind of like it that way too.
MZ: Great idea!

I am sorry but there is no denying my Irish ancestry. Also it is important to make a point with a person's full name so I always had to make up middle names for people to get their attention at work. Plus it is a fact that body parts and bodily functions get the most comments on any post.

I never mention dick size on my blog due to feelings of shame and inadequacy....
I'm not of Irish ancestry; and almost everyone calls me by a name that is not my own - it doesn't bother me.

Thanks for this fun post.

All the best, Boonie

GA: Why are you sorry? Irish and proud! That is hilarious about making up middle names...I'll try that.
B: Very funny!

I didn't even wear green (or think about it) or have a green beer...none of that. I know, I'm like the March 17th Grinch!

Darth Weasel said...

I have to admit I am as Irish as s Mexican Hat Dance.

Including on Patricks day.

Riot Kitty said...

I: Yeah, but the Grinch is green!
D: But you have a Grinch shirt, which is also green...you two see where I'm going with this.

Holland said...

I have nothing Irish in me, nor did I ever have and - very likely - nor will I ever.

And to stop you right there ad then...I do not wear green shirts.
There... Finally a pure bred Dutchie in your life!...lol

H: Famous last words! You might meet some fantastic Irish guy, and then...
