As a progressive, a minority, a mixed-race person, a female, an American - I AM SO PROUD! I AM SO HAPPY!
I AM NO LONGER EMBARRASSED BY MY GOVERNMENT!
Yes to civil rights!
Yes to women's rights!
Yes to caring about the disabled, the disenfranchised, the regular people.
YES, WE DID!

What a historic election. I am so happy.
I was in a hospitality room over looking the crowd at the Crown Royal Hotel in St.Paul when Obama won..we went out to the balcony and watched as grown men and woman hugged and kissed with tears running down our faces.
When we left the streets were full of people celebrating, I got so many hugs from so many hot guys..it could turn a girls head...LOL
I'm proud too, Kitty, I'm proud of
all the young people especially my G kids that went out and voted for Obama
This world will be a better place..
For your blog : Barack Obama's Inauguration Day countdown clock
The victory of Barack Obama is a historical event for America and the world. The next big date is the Presidential Inauguration Day : January 20, 2009.
I have built a countdown clock to the day when President Obama will take office.
